Brain Sprinkles makes digital coloring books for people who want a quiet half hour and don't want to be good at art to get it.
We make coloring books for people who are tired, not artistic.
Brain Sprinkles started with a slightly petty observation: most coloring books are either for children or for people with the patience of a monk. There was nothing in between. Nothing for the person with eleven browser tabs open and thirty minutes before bed.
So we drew that instead. Bold outlines you can fill in without squinting. Small creatures having a mildly difficult day. Pages you can finish in one sitting and still feel like you made something.
Why digital, and not a real book
Because waiting nine days for a parcel is the exact opposite of a spontaneous urge to colour something. Every Brain Sprinkles book is a PDF. You buy it, you download it, you print the page you want — tonight, not next week. Print the same page five times if the first one goes sideways. Nobody is counting.
It also means no packaging, no shipping van and no stack of unsold books in a warehouse. That felt like the right way to do it.
Who is behind it
A very small studio in Europe. Every character is drawn by hand, every book is checked page by page before it goes out, and every email you send is read by someone who actually knows what is inside the files.
